Technology Assistance

At Spring Hill College, the department of Information Technology Services is dedicated to providing quality infrastructure, technical and software support. Whether a campus user has a question about the use of a software application; needs assistance with College-owned equipment or needs to reserve multimedia equipment for a presentation, Information Technology Services staff are prepared to help.

The HelpDesk serves as a first point of contact for technology-related questions and requests. Contacting the HelpDesk is the first step in obtaining software support, having hardware or network questions answered, or reporting problems with your network connections or the network in general.

During academic terms, the HelpDesk is staffed live from 8:00am until 11:00pm weekdays, Saturdays from 9:00am until 5:00pm and Sundays from 1:00pm until 11:00pm. The HelpDesk can be reached by phone (251.380.2276), by email (helpdesk@shc.edu), or in person (Burke First Floor, IT Reserves & Help Desk). During other weekday or weekend hours, as well as holidays, voicemail is available to record requests for assistance. Also, HelpDesk email is checked throughout the day, evenings, weekends and holidays.
